    I am currently employed as an admin assistant at Head-On Electrical. I decided to take on this role as I was eager to gain an understanding of the inner workings of a business including relationships, invoicing and priority management etc. During my time here I have learned various skills including processing time sheets, stock order and rotation on a weekly basis, ensuring the business has everything it needs to run smoothly. I have also gained vital IT skills such as Sage One accounting and payroll software. This role has equipped me to be able to multi task under pressure and always carry out work to the highest quality, as a mistake can cost a business time and money.

    My previous role was at The Deep, a well-known and frequented tourist attraction in Hull. In this role customer satisfaction is at the highest, working in the cafeteria during the day and working the exclusive restaurant on the night, my customer service level never dips. It is important to create an atmosphere for people to be able to have a full experience including families and people with special requirements/needs. Having shown my potential I was asked to move over to The Deep Business Centre, a hub for various different businesses. Through feedback I learned this was due to receiving recognition for excellent customer service and willingness to learn from senior colleagues. During my time here I was trained on the switchboard for calls to multiple companies, training in franking/special delivery and recorded delivery for parcels and important mail. I also support staff in administrative duties such as filling, booking clients and creating safe systems of working.
