About me
Tia Chiu is a creator of wearable art and specialises in editorial and fashion beauty, but also loves a challenge. Tia is currently a BA (Hons) Makeup & Hair Design undergraduate at Southampton Solent University. Before studying at Solent, Tia studied Media Makeup at Swindon North Star College, achieving her level 3 and extended diploma qualification. Tia is a professional makeup and hair designer who applies her technical knowledge and skills, to the field of makeup artistry. Tia has various skills ranging from fashion beauty, body painting, special fx, hair styling, and beauty photography. As well as her education, Tia has worked at the House of Ikons Fashion Show, during London Fashion Week where she was working alongside a number of makeup artists to apply makeup to multiple models so they were ready for the catwalk.

- RUTHLESSFor my final major project at university, I decided to create a brand book for a subscription based service called Ruthless. Ruthless is a 2 minute makeup bag that will include 6 products, some being multiple use, to be able to create a look within 2 minutes. The average time made for self care is only 17 minutes a day, Ruthless will be gifting their consumers with time to prioritise well-being.
