About me
Cultural Consultant with a decade's experience in global project management, cultural programme development and expertize in the music and non-profit sector. I have spent the last decade working in the music, social change and cultural industry and am also a DJ and Sound Curator with 15 years experience as a Hip Hop artivist. I have consulted for MTV, UNESCO, International Music Council, Music Freedom Day, Roskilde Festival, Danish Center for Culture & Development, Paris-New York Festival, OGOJII Magazine etc. Since 2010 I have worked across the Middle East and North Africa as the Program Officer for the MENA Region for non-profit organization Turning Tables (http://turningtables.org/). I am also the co-founder of Jordan’s first Urban Arts festival 'The Word Is Yours' and an external lecturer at Copenhagen University MA elective Global Urban Studies. Some of my key activities include project management, strategy development, creative direction and fundraising for non-profit and culture and arts. I also offer expertise on social change through human-rights based culture, arts and music as well as non-profit consulting on youth inclusion and empowerment in developing countries through urban arts and music.
