My art journey so far has been. . .an experience, to say the least.
I used to describe my art as a celebration but with age comes maturity and I have a feeling that the same has happened to the stories I tell through my artwork.
From feel-good thematics such as millennial stereotypes and pop culture signifiers my artwork now has grown into an allegory about the world we live in.
From celebrating what is deemed 'ugly on the surface' for being either too extravagant or too pretentious (in its 'meaning') the artwork I make has now evolved into a representation of the struggles associated with the human condition.
