Projects
  • Refuge Worldwide zine
Refuge Worldwide zineTogether with Refuge Worldwide I put together a zine focussing on how grassroots communities can turn awareness into action. The zine was launched at their annual Regenerate festival in Berlin. I had a lot of fun with this project and got to interview some fascinating people working with archival material for a piece entitled "Present Pasts".
  • Potluck zine: "All Guns Glazing"
Potluck zine: "All Guns Glazing"I wrote an article for Potluck about my problem with glazed foods and the rise of the foodie. You can check it out in their "Authenticity" issue!
  • Seeking Survival
Seeking SurvivalA insider's look into Holland's housing crisis and the creative ways in which people survive under it. In collaboration with Slim Radio I sourced interviewees, researched housing laws and produced this series.
  • Amsterdam audio guide - Urbs
Amsterdam audio guide - UrbsWhen exploring cities, there’s currently no middle ground between hiring a tour guide for the day and trawling through guidebooks and articles. That’s where Urbs comes in, an app with a curated library of audio descriptions, bespoke tour routes according to your preferences, and essential travel knowledge specific to your location. After helping Urbs to create a list of key tourist locations, I and a team of local writers set out to write engaging scripts for tourists to discreetly listen to

  • Seasonal Expressions with Tiffany Lai - Voices Radio
Seasonal Expressions with Tiffany Lai - Voices RadioI host a weird and wonderful show every month at Voices Radio in Kings Cross called Seasonal Expressions. To a certain extent this show does what it says on the tin, it’s a show about expressing how a season feels. It came about when I started thinking about the subjective division between senses. I really believe that you can taste words, smell sights and hear flavours and today’s show is about finding out how. I wanted to see whether I could translate a particular temperature in a particular

In this exciting four month exchange I took courses in both Anthropology and Comparative Literature. These included a feature writing course taught by journalists Harry Lambert and Sam Earle as well as a Digital Infrastructure course examining objects as wide ranging as the NHS app and Columbian waterways. The feature writing course was especially enlightening and was where I learnt to edit, pitch, interview and write long form, engaging content for an online audience.
