About me
As a recent graduate of Art History from the University of Plymouth, I am looking for opportunities in London or perhaps further afield. Experience in customer service roles as well as within the art-world and a strong interest in other creative fields. Looking to see where art can take me. I have skills in solo-work, group projects and teamwork, and experience in presenting ideas to large groups of people. I also possess great organisational skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Rashleigh Mineral Collection - ConservationThe renowned Rashleigh Mineral Collection, at some point in its recent past, has suffered from an infestation of mould spores that have spread throughout the collection held in storage. An ongoing conservation project has started up with the ultimate goal of checking, cleaning, and the updating of the associated metadata.

I currently volunteer at the Royal Cornwall Museum where my work lies with the digitisation and retouching of images from the archives. This work is extremely important as it aims to improve accessibility to a large collection of images that are a very clear visual record of Cornish heritage; helping people connect with their history.

My responsibilities here were to help with general tasks around the gallery, including the handling of artwork, and working with external groups. I also worked outside the gallery, taking the artwork to be photographed and authenticated. I also spent time at the National Portrait Gallery archive, working on sales history and provenance research.

I have studied art in many of its forms from A-Level through to college and most notably onwards to University level where I studied Art History. This has given me a keen eye for analysis and research that was directed towards graded coursework. My time at university taught me to focus on detail and clarity, in the hope of proving my point based on my research question. I also worked within larger and smaller groups, working on group projects that involved delegation of crucial tasks and ensuring good communication between all group members.
