I love the variety of working with clients in different sectors. Whatever the brief, the creative process is broadly the same, so I don’t believe sector experience is always necessary: a fresh head can be just as good as an old hand. I hadn’t worked on Crisps before Walkers or cars before VW and won awards for both. While I love creating advertising, I’ve increasingly worked directly with brand owners (mainly start-ups) on branding invention, development and communications. I'm keen to get more long-form copy into my portfolio and do more digital work.
