As my CV demonstrates, I have often written online content in return for payment. The topics of which I wrote were frequently financial: commodities, company shares, certain industries, spread betting techniques, forex, tax, market indices and general news. I also tackled many other subjects that included real estate, healthcare, travel and cars.
I have completed much proofreading both for payment and not, often leaving clients extremely satisfied. Out of interest, I have written extensively of environmental matters, UFOs and conspiracy theories, with the URLs in my CV. The articles about conspiracy theories were feature-length. Having written and proofread so much voluntarily, I am surely passionate about these things.
I am looking to work within an organisation where I can utilise my current skillset, but I may also have the opportunity to further develop as a professional copywriter. I am skilled at debate. When writing of conspiracy theories, I cogently defended a variety of unusual propositions. I won almost every argument I entered into at www.reddit.com.
I had many good ideas: writing of the environment, I talked about how sperm quality in China is falling due to pollution, how pollution might be causing the erectile dysfunction so common in the country and how a Chinese admiral claimed that smog protects against lasers. I have more such examples.
I have used WordPress a great deal. I know Excel to macro level and taught it to 16/17-year-old students at one of the best secondary schools in Thailand. I know Word to intermediate level. I used to work as an MS Access developer. I am a skilled communicator, having honed my skills while teaching English as a foreign language. I completed a course in proofreading where proofreaders' marks were used. I speak conversational German. I can type 55 words per minute.
