Hi, I’m Timothy Hunt, a UK based illustrator working in graphic design, illustration and motion.
With over 10 years experience collaborating with amazing teams and working independently. Delivering fresh and creative solutions under pressure for brands such as Samsung, Stella Artois and American Express.
My work is minimal, bold and playful. My inspiration comes from modern art and graphic design, children’s picture books and comics.
My process generally includes playfully sketching to generate ideas, to working up final images digitally.
Interests include drawing, cycling, skateboarding, animated series and gaming (currently playing Tenchu PS1).
Projects
- Sticky Hole Doughnuts BrandingA project to create the visual identity as part of the branding for Sticky Hole Doughnuts. The brief was to create something fun and vibrant. The final results are something a little bit tongue in cheek, and certainly fun. Using a blend of 3D and 2D illustrations gave dimension and also scope to extend the individual assets across different applications.
- SmartThings Developer PortalAn amazing opportunity and collaboration with designer Yeny Rubiano, for the SmartThings Developer Portal from the brand Samsung. SmartThings is a home automation company that helps build a smart home to uplift everyday living and meaningful moments. ‘SmartThings creates meaningful experiences that are effortlessly integrated across any phone, any device, and any brand’. I created a series of new icons, illustrations and infographics which fit within the SmartThings graphic style.
