American-German Tina Ziegler now residing in London, has created a name for herself through exhibiting the work of some of the most renowned international proponents of the Pop Surrealist and Urban Contemporary art movement. Since 2009 within Europe, Tina has worked with over 300 international artists and curated more than 55 art exhibitions. She has also played a valuable role in managing exhibitions, commercial projects and brand campaigns through Etika Projects in Barcelona and Moniker Projects in London.
• Responsible for all areas of exhibition management, strategy and financial accounts • Ensure all exhibitions are delivered on time and to budget • Maintain the consistency and integrity of the Gallery’s reputation and artist portfolio • Curated and produced 6 exhibitions to date in London, Paris and Miami • Train and energize the Gallery staff and assistants • Responsible for maintaining the Gallery’s website and online presence • Arrange international shipments and art insurance • Source sponsors and partners for specific exhibitions and manage those accounts • Successful in managing the Gallery’s transition period when relocating from London to Paris • Respond to long hours and stressful situations with a calm attitude and a solution driven mentality
• Head of exhibitors for Moniker Art Fair 2011 to 2015 • Curate a number of fair-led exhibitions, murals and conferences • Develop the business strategy, curatorial vision and financial plan for the fair • Work alongside the accountant to evaluate and manage all PNL accounts for each exhibition • Conduct extensive research into emerging trends in contemporary culture, art and design • Liaise with external partners and review contractual agreements • Write sponsorship, grant proposals and manage successful funding activities • Act as a team leader to monitor the work flow of production, installation and de-installation of the fair • Arrange commercial insurance and advise the team on health and safety regulations • Conduct media interviews and communicate the fair’s concept to the wider public • Ensure the fair objectives are communicated to the internal team and external partners
• Responsible for the development, management and growth of the agency in Barcelona • Acted as head account manager for clients: Volkswagen, Swab Contemporary Art Fair, Powerslide GMBH, Doop Skates and Generator Hostels • Created the strategic focus, planning and implementation of commissioned art projects • Sourced artworks and liaised with artists and clients for private commissions • Carefully managed the projects to meet various regulations within Spain • Acted as the public face for the agency and managed media interviews in Spanish and English
One year study of fashion design and management
Presented an entrepreneurial and innovative project to raise awareness about plastic bag pollution through a creative art campaign. The project objective was to replace single-use petroleum plastic bags with 100% biodegradable and compostable plastics. The campaign combined an important environmental message while educating the public about the local artist community in Barcelona, Spain.
