Toby is a London based Cinematographer, he is a graduate of the prestigious National Film and Television School, where he learnt from some of the best cinematographers in the world. Toby studied at the NFTS through a scholarship donation provided by the British Society of Cinematographers. He’s experienced on many formats, having shot projects on 16mm, 35mm and digital – including a variety of different cameras.
Projects Toby has worked on have seen success at film festivals around the globe from Academy Award quallifying St. Louis International Film Festival to the BFI London Film Festival, as well as winning numerous Children’s BAFTA awards along the way.
Most recently The Black Cop, which Toby shot part of, won the BAFTA for Best Short Film in 2022.
