    Communications Project Manager
    Worked with internal teams (Marketing & Campaigns) to develop relevant content and materials. Developed relationships with key external journalists to ensure that Directors UK is seen as the go-to voice of the industry in the UK. Project managed publicity campaigns, including the launch of Directors UK’s report on diversity, called ‘UK Television: Adjusting the Colour Balance’. Producing media materials; including press releases, media/press packs, membership brochures and pamphlets, and more. Liaising with members for potential case study/media volunteer opportunities. Assisting with events (both internal/members-only and external/partnerships), which have included guest speakers and screenings with Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hooper, Danny Boyle, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Sarah Gavron, Abi Morgan and others. Developing goals, and ensuring project objectives are met whilst promoting the professional association across all national media outlets, and integrating support & media activities from the digital team and social media services. Respond to enquiries from all media, members, services and the general public. Identifying media opportunities and drafting proactive, or reactive press statements, on behalf of the association. Work with directors, and industry professionals that are involved with influencing and changing the industry, such as journalists, production companies, broadcasters and others. Creating targeted media lists, and producing valuable varied coverage. Monitoring, reporting and evaluating media coverage.
