Hi! I'm a digital content professional with over a decade of experience in writing, editing, publishing and promoting online copy. Alongside the usual (Adobe and Microsoft suites, HTML, Google Analytics, Wordpress) I have particular experience in proprietary CMS and Sitecore. My roles have been primarily within the charity, education and arts and culture sectors, where I have produced, edited and proofread copy across a variety of audiences.
A native web user who grew up alongside blogs, social networks and online media, I have excellent knowledge of tailoring content to boost SEO rankings, engagement, and to be shared across platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I have experience in producing marketing campaigns, working to tight deadlines, and contributing to wider-ranging projects. I also make a good cup of tea and apparently look much shorter on Microsoft Teams than in real life. Would you believe my parents aren't particularly big Doctor Who fans?

- Marketing position at BIMIDuring my postgraduate study I was a member of Birkbeck Institute for the Moving Image (BIMI), the in-house cinema based in Birkbeck College's Bloomsbury campus. During my time there I helped to deliver screenings, produced marketing materials (including editing a trailer for the quarter's screening series), manned the cinema's social media accounts, delivered a regular newsletter using Mailchimp, and maintained relationships with clients and collaborators.
- Boots online Christmas catalogueWorked with gift experience team at Boots to prepare the online catalogue of products for their Christmas launch. Wrote original copy, proofread and edited text provided by suppliers, liaised with in-house photographers, use of proprietary CMS system and SEO analytics.

I was first point of contact for all web content queries from colleagues across the company and externally. This meant my role was quite wide-ranging and multi-faceted, covering everything from consultation, project management and managing workflow through proofreading, copywriting and editing, CMS problem-solving and web page publishing.
Building on my existing experience with Sitecore, I dealt with BAU requests from stakeholders across the institute, as well as ongoing development work as part of CIPFA's transformation program: uplifting of content from a design, writing and UX perspective; auditing and mapping the existing web structure; and regular meetings with team members about forthcoming projects to improve the customer experience.
Alongside my work editing, writing, publishing and strategising, I provided training in CMS usage for new starters and developed an entirely new set of training materials for colleagues, built within Microsoft's Sharepoint suite.
