About me

I’m a huge music enthusiast and it’s a passion I’ve had from an early age through playing in bands, gig going and studying Music and Sound Production Technology (BSc Hons 2:1) at Bournemouth University. I’m a hard grafter, full of enthusiasm and keen to make my mark on the industry. I want to to utilise the skills, knowledge and enthusiasm I have as well as learn the ropes working for a music company. I’m currently working as Events Manager at MEGA Events. I’m responsible for the planning, logistics and execution of multiple music, food and drink events across the UK. Other responsibilities include social media marketing, working with various brands, as well as bespoke content creation. I’m computer literate, a quick learner and know the importance of paying attention to detail and working to deadline. These skills are highly transferable to many other roles. My ideal working environment is one where I can contribute to projects I feel passionately about and work for an independent label that has its integrity intact and a like-minded team who care about what they do.

Studied units such as Studio Techniques, Production Techniques, Synthesizer and Sequencing Systems, Commercial Business Environment, Composing Using Technology and Group Project. Using ProTools, I learn about all aspects of mixing and mastering both audio and MIDI projects. I also learn about how a studio is run and the workflow of a production team, alongside learning about the music industry itself and the business aspects.
