My time at Schön! Magazine was very rewarding. It was more focused on the fashion side of magazines and I was able to be immersed in a fashion-based environment. I worked on editorial pieces that were published on the website and took part in researching for upcoming interviews and events.
During my time at Company magazine I learned what it was like to be in a magazine environment. I was placed on the features desk and had my first piece of work published within the hour, and during my time at Company magazine I had three pieces of work published.
I worked at Fisherprint when during my holidays away from university. I would help doing general clerical work, answering telephones and greeting customers.
At Superdrug I was a sales advisor n the make-up and fragrance department. I would help advise people on different products to find one best suited to them.
I studied at the Condé Nast College for a summer taking part in the summer intensive course. where we learnt about the magazine business as a whole, from sale and PR to the fashion and writing side.
I studied journalism as a broad subject rather than narrow myself into one discipline
