About me
Moved to London to study music journalism in 2017 at the British & Irish Modern Music Institute. Previously a studio assistant at Subtle FM, I am now a radio producer and studio manager at Balamii Radio, a hub of South London culture, where I collaborate with the industry's leading professionals and talent daily.     In April of last year, I co-founded Footwork DNB, a company that organises and promotes electronic music events in London. We created it to provide young and up-and-coming artists with a platform to express themselves. We've been consistently successful, packing out venues across London and turning over profits of £1000+ each time. I am also responsible for the running of the social media accounts, for which I have amassed 2983 followers, as well as 2615 SoundCloud followers. In organising these events, I work closely with freelance photographers, videographers and graphic designers to ensure our events are well presented and documented. Due to the nationwide lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we haven't been able to put on events, so we've recently begun to focus our efforts on releasing music as a record label. Our free download series has provided a platform for up-and-coming musicians to showcase their music. Since beginning three months ago, we have garnered 80,000 SoundCloud plays, 7791 likes, 3238 reposts and 3,726 comments.
