About me
For the last 5 years I have been working in the creative industries, gaining experience in a broad range of multidisciplinary fields from social entrepreneurship, to service design, to luxury digital advertising. I am now working as a freelance creative and strategist. In this turbulent year, its never felt more crucial for brands and businesses to get it right - whether that’s resonating with consumers, finding greater purpose or simply surviving. The right story well told is the goal, the creative and strategy are the catalysts. This is what gets me up in the morning.

  • Ritz Carlton - Room Number 8
    Ritz Carlton - Room Number 8Brief : Showcase the Ritz Carlton hospitality offering, in a market where they have little visibility. Role : Creative, Copywriter Solution : The idea was to create a multi sensory performance event in collaboration with Vogue and GQ, to bring to life the level of hospitality delivered day in day out by the Ritz Carlton Ladies and gentlemen.   • Tommy Hilfiger Flex X GQ
    Tommy Hilfiger Flex X GQBrief : Launch the Tommy Hilfiger FLEX range in global markets, with GQ’s fashion and style authority. Role : Creative, Copywriter Solution :The idea was to give legitimacy to Tommy Hilfiger in global markets through altering their tone of voice. By showcasing real people doing what they do best whilst dressed impeccably in a TH Flex suit, we were able to help them move away from the american college style and to a more refined look and feel. By utilising GQ and Condé Nast’s extensive network we were able to locate handsome and talented individuals in 4 global cities to not only show style, but also to represent the freedom that comes with wearing a TH Flex suit. Our campaign featured a drummer in London, a dancer in Paris, a skateboarder in Hamburg and a writer in New York. The campaign was lead by a 2 minute film and was supported by social posts and native GQ articles for each of the different markets. This ensured the message was easily translated and understandable to each of the different GQ audiences.
  • H&M Green Store
    H&M Green StoreBrief : Create a concept ‘Green Store’ for H&M on Mönckebergstraße, one of Hamburg’s main shopping streets. Role: Creative Solution: The Green Store prototype was designed to be sustainable in terms of materials, construction, energy, operation and other aspects and was realized in Hamburg, Germany. The prototype was designed to be scalable to H&M stores worldwide, economically beneficial and to make the idea of sustainability tangible for customers and employees. The idea for design was based around a loop structure, to hint at H&M’s attempts to move towards a more circular economy. This formed the basis of the space with entirety of the materials used either being recycled or repurposed with communication elements at a number of points throughout, where you could see both what H&M was doing to address social and environmental issues, and how the general public could get involved too. The green store successfully started a conversation across a number of audiences about what a retail space can do to inspire a more sustainable, whilst still fashionable lifestyle.

    I have recently moved from a full time role to become freelance, this is to allow me to broaden my horizons and allow time for a wider range of projects. I am now working between London, Hamburg and Berlin on projects ranging through creative, strategy and social responsibility. Current clients include This Because (London) & Verstärker (Hamburg), alongside a pro bono project to create a process for charities to follow when creating communications, as to not detrimentally harm their end goals.
