About me

I started Overhear in 2015 and established as a ltd company in 2019. I have secured three rounds of Arts Council Finding to work with Verve Poetry Festival, Birmingham Literature & Wolverhampton Literature Festivals. Overhear is a mobile app that geotags recordings of commissioned poetry to locations.

Projects

• Overhear x Birminham Literature FestivalI commissioned 12 poets to write about 12 locations associated with the festival to be recorded and geotagged in the Overhear app during the festival. We also commissioned 3 artist led walking tours working with Ben Waddington's stillwalking.org
• Overhear x Verve Poetry festivalOverhear commissioned 12 poems about locations surrounding the festival from local poets. These were recorded and geotagged to the spaces in the overhear app for users to collect. We hosted 6walking tours with Ben Waddington of stillwalking.org.
