I have recently moved to the Greater London area and am looking entry level positions in the creative industry.
I've grown up as a creative type, and have always practised, enjoyed and studied Art through many disciplines.
Equally since Computer technology was available to me, Ive been drawn to learning new softwares, and feel i can quickly understand basics and start learning with confidence.
My Artistic studies through school, into sixth from and further have given me exposure to a lot of skills which once picked up i have carefully maintained. However I feel the Art Foundation Course at Cambridge Regional College really furthered my artistic skills, interest, knowledge and understanding; since passing the course and starting to live life independently, I find having a creative output a rewarding and essential part of my life.
Deciding not to go to university was a crucial decision for me, and my experiences in the working world so far have given me a positive work ethic, and a results based drive in the workplace. Skills i was able to transfer and develop to the most creative full-time position i have had working as a design assistant in a small glass engraving company.
I am now looking for alternative paths to career as a non-grad, I'm currently looking for Assistant roles in Photography and Film, but am adaptive and keen to experience a variety of roles.
