As an enthusiastic graphic designer with two years industry experience, I am writing to express my interest in the Junior Graphic Designer position at your company. I believe my experience aligns well to the role you are advertising, I worked very closely with the marketing department in my previous role to develop online and physical assets for various promotions. This included attending planning meetings as part of the design team followed by my individual work to create the assets for the chosen design style, each following established brand styles and guidelines.
After working with several companies over the past two years I have experience on project management within my role ensuring multiple projects can run side by side within a fast moving environment. Moreover, while my last role gave me a well rounded skill set I excel in:
• Graphic Design using Photoshop and Illustrator as tools.
• Prepress using Adobe programmes to create and layup artwork.
• Tracking and reporting of ongoing jobs.
In addition to my experience within the design industry I also had a strong education foundation having completed a BTEC in Art & Design, grade obtained: Distinction. Giving me a strong understanding of colour theory and how to apply design to various advertising mediums. Alongside this I also completed an A-Level in Media Studies, grade obtained: B, and a BTEC Business Studies, grade obtained Distinction*, which helped to furthered my knowledge of advertising and business operations between a company and its target audience.

Creating memorable samples and advertisements for International distributors, used for showroom and event sales promotion.
My main role within Duplo was to advertise the company’s print finishing machines through the use of samples. I designed and tested a monthly sample for use of distributors across the International region to use as advertisements within their own showrooms and events.
I also created quarterly sales promotion assets, including an email advertisement, email signature, social posts and banners. These promotions completely transformed our online appearance, whilst still keeping to the company’s brand guidelines. I would also design and developed for regional exhibitions that distributers would be attending. This would include product brochures, literature, samples and stand graphics.

Creating effective designs for International clients, ultimately being taken on by one of them thanks to the quality of my work.
My role started as using the agencies brand guidelines to design a series of graphics that could be used on their social channels as a representation of them as a company. This developed into working with one of their account managers on client artwork briefs.
After the internship the agency introduced me to one of their clients, Duplo International, who were advertising for a new role as their Junior Graphic Design (their first internal design resource) and recommended me for that role. A position I successfully attained.
