Tony Sage is a highly accomplished Producer, Songwriter, award-winning Drummer, and Studio Manager hailing from Paris, France. His formative years were immersed in musical studies, spanning Jazz, Classical, and Modern Music.
Recognized for his exceptional playing abilities and active participation in the music community, Tony was honored with three music scholarships, propelling him into a focused exploration of production and composition within contemporary genres.
His collaborative journey has been marked by fruitful partnerships with various artists, including notable names such as CindyBB, Celine Love, EAUPALE, and YAZ. Tony's commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity and enhancing each artist's musical identity has garnered attention from esteemed record labels, including Sony, Sweat Entertainment, and Unity Records, who have gone on to sign some of the talents he has worked with.
Since making London his home in 2015, Tony has been a fixture in numerous studios, including Dean Street and ThatSoundStudios. Currently, he oversees his own studio located in North London serving as a sound engineer and the studio manager at ThatSoundStudio. In this role, he actively engages in promoting and fostering the community growth of the studio while organizing a variety of events.
Beyond his studio responsibilities, Tony Sage is a dynamic force in the live music scene. As both a drummer and Musical Director, he has lent his talents to various bands and played a pivotal role in award shows, such as accompanying Berry Galazka at the ESNS awards.
Central to Tony's approach as a producer is his philosophy that the essence of the individual will shine through in the music. He firmly believes that capturing the true identity of an artist is key to pushing their music to new heights. I earned three music scholarships in a row; in 2010,2011 and 2012.
To earn this scholarship, I was assessed on multiple levels. I had to audition with a 30 min drum performance, had to be top of the class in music, had to have a major role in all music societies in the school as well as being an ideal/exemplary student in the school (Student council/Volunteer).
