Hi, I’m Tris. I’m a creative professional currently working as Senior Creative Artworker at Havas Lynx.
I also run my own photography and design business.
In 1995 at the age of 19, after studying graphic design at college, I joined Acorn Creative.
This is where I trained to be an artworker, retoucher and graphic designer.
After 6 years at MKP (now merged with TBWA Manchester), I went to Madhouse Associates and then Acrobat Creative (now Nic & Carole). My portfolio of work includes clients such as Motorola, Toyota, Whittard, Cath Kidston, Denby Pottery, Black & Decker, RBS and Kelloggs.
My journey into photography began in 2012. I travelled and worked alongside a
photographer who encouraged me to take it a step further and shoot professional photography.
From 2006 to 2016 spent ten years working for a UK Charity, AsiaLink.
As well as art-direction and graphic design, my work also involved presenting, video production, digital artwork and leading teams of students on short-term trips. I’ve had the privilege of traveling and working in various places across Asia, including Laos, Vietnam, Nepal, China, India, Thailand and the Maldives.
In 2015 I formed my own business, TM Creative. In 2018 I re-branded to True Romance Photography.
In 2016 I joined Havas Lynx in Manchester as a Senior Creative Artworker.
I’ve directly contributed to help win 11 pitches with AstraZeneca and Sanofi.
I’m fully proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Final Cut Pro. In my 3 years at Havas Lynx, I’ve also spent a vast proportion of my time designing PowerPoint decks for pitches, meetings and workshops.
I’m married with two children and currently live in Stockport.
