- An Elegy for a BloomThe goal of this project is to create a metaphorical narrative that raises awareness about Lupus. The diagnostic process can be lengthy, and many individuals suffer silently due to the nature of the disease, which often leaves them in a state of confusion and uncertainty. This project aims to provide a comprehensive account of my experience with Lupus Sle, with the intent of inspiring others to seek medical attention and better understand the condition.
- The Singing HalakkisThis project was inspired by the ‘Halakki Vokkaligas’ of India, who possess a rich and ancient folklore that shares a close bond with the practice of singing. The Halakki women are powerful and hold the community together, they sing songs to assert their identity and belief, passed down through generations. Illustrations were developed by interpreting and responding to the research.
- Book CommissionRecently finished a book commission for Badger Publishing, marking my debut in working with a haunted theme. Embracing the creative challenge, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I eagerly anticipate the publication in mid-September 2024, when I'll be able to share my illustrations with the world.
