About me
I am an experienced Architectural Designer with 7+ years of experience in architectural design workflows with a focus on corporate architecture and computational design. For the past 2 years, I have been in charge of the design and fabrication of an innovative adaptive 3D printed trombe wall, exploring the boundaries of additive manufacturing (mostly FDM) and the relationship between scale and thermal effect of geometric operations. The final prototype has been produced using a DIY extruder using customized tool paths for the movement of the Comau NJ60 robotic arm. The final 1:1 prototype is currently exhibited at the 2018 Venice Architectural Biennale. My interest in digital design and fabrication is deeply rooted in the Master of Architecture program of DIA, Dessau-Rosslau, Germany which I have graduated from in 2010. I continued to develop my expertise through a series of international digital design and fabrication workshops which I co-tutored and co-organized. During the P3 Workshop - Lodz, Poland – a 1:1 plywood pavilion has been designed and fabricated for the Lodz Design Week.     I have been in charge of the design and fabrication of an innovative adaptive 3D printed trombe wall, exploring the boundaries of additive manufacturing (mostly FDM) and the relationship between scale and thermal effect of geometric operations. Multiple 3D printed samples have been produced to better understand and calibrate certain design decisions. The final prototype has been produced using a DIY extruder using customized tool paths for the movement of the Comau NJ60 robotic arm. The extrusion system uses plastic pellets as raw material and can produce material depositions of 3,4,5 and 6mm depending on the installed nozzle. The extruder uses an arduino board to control the extrusion speed and temperature settings (based on digifabTURINg workflow) The final 1:1 prototype has been exhibited at the 2018 Venice Architectural Biennale as part of the TU Delft Bouwkunde "BK Booths" exhibition concept.

    The master course is a 4 semester intense architectural design and digital fabrication oriented program. The DIA Graduate School of Architecture is conducting a Master's course in architecture at graduate level which is taught entirely in English. DIA Graduate School of Architecture started its activities 10 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1999 with 10 students. It has by now expanded to about 200 students from more than 50 countries.
