About me

Umber Ghauri is a Professional Makeup Artist who specialises in working with people of colour and LGBTQ people. Umber has experience in makeup for theatre, film, photography and performance. With a background in Art History. Through studying and writing about art, Umber was drawn into the topics of gender, sexuality, race, and image. Creating a safe, creative and educational space for clients is a priority in Umber’s practice, whether that is in producing video content, face to face makeup workshops, writing, public speaking or as a freelance artist.
