Hello! My name is Urvashi, most people call me Ush. As a designer I enjoy creating design that is for fronted by story telling.
I like working with people and connecting them to design. I strive to create design that is well thought out and executed in a simple but effective manner.
Projects
- Mosaic StudioBrief: Create an innovative and inspiring experience, designed to promote a brand of your choice. This space will not sell a physical product, but will be a brand showcase to engage customers. Concept: I wanted to create a studio that bridged the gap between University and the Design Industry. Solution: MOSAIC Studio. A studio created for young designers of all principles to work within a collaborative space, working together on live industry briefs.
- What is IndependenceWhat is Independence? Brief: To break down the word Independence and uncover what it really means to be independent. Concept: Independence is an over-used, stereotyped word. I wanted to go back to the essence of what independence meant to people. How they perceived and interpreted the word. Solution: From my research I realised that people interpret the word in very different ways. People chose to tell me about the little moments in life that made them the people they are today. I wanted to celebrate this. I created a viral campaign which incorporated the stories I had gathered and encouraged more people to share theirs. Have a look at the live Instagram feed.
