interning in the label and branding department at Acne Studios headquarters in Stockholm Sweden where I was venturing into Scandinavian fashion and learning more about the fashion industry as well as the tasks asked of us in my department.
the Label and branding department deals with the creation of new labels that may need to be redesigned for new garments that will go into the new collections to come. Collaborations are also common, so the label's and branding on these collections were a priority in my job role. Alongside new branding for Acne Studios, I also presented placement ideas, created artworks and guidelines which then were ready to send out to our suppliers.
The days were all different and I could be working on a lot of projects at the same time. This is where I learned how to manage time more easily as the internship carried on. Communication with other departments was crucial for me to see what's happening and what might be coming my way, this way I could then plan ahead of the workload.
Acne Studios become a great place for me to build my skills within the Adobe programs and has become a very beneficial resource for me to pick up knowledge on the Fashion industry and the ongoings of what makes a very successful brand.
