I had the pleasure of working on this as an archive researcher, it was my first step into the film industry. I learned so much from this and the team were amazing! so happy to have been part of this

  The curse of the chippendalesI had the pleasure of working as a researcher on this 4 part documentary series commissioned by discovery plus. My role on this production included sourcing rare and unique archives, securing usage rights, data input and organization for post-production and fact checking.

Maria and Dom are demi-gods in the eyes of their followers, they share sermons, promote their book and prepare for an upcoming trip where their lives are being re-created and captured. The week before they leave Dom wants to see his mum, Maria a manipulative and powerful partner grows increasingly frustrated with Dom’s desires outside of their lives together. Cracks start to emerge, Dom yearns for connection and truth in a world he is feeling ever more alienated from. This is a short magical realism piece that questions modern practices of privacy, performance and power. At times absurd, the film is Lynchian in its use of sound and dream-like sequences. What happens when spirituality is capitalised? Jerusalem Syndrome provides a dark and satirical look at this question.
