Projects
- World Aids DayIn December 2015, I was given the sole responsibility of managing a series of events for World Aids Day, the main focus; to promote sexual health, well being and equality and diversity across the University through social media and face to face interactions. I managed every aspect of the event including the design and creation of the marketing materials.
- National Citizen ServiceI was part of a small team that created a social action plan where we raised money for a local charity called Children’s Integrated Play Schemes. My role was the Fundraiser and Financial Manager. We raised approximately £2000 within 2 months. I was then elected the student representative for NCS by my peers.
- EnactusEnactus is a network which gives young leaders the opportunity to be innovative to help change or improve communities in a positive way through social action plans and environmentally responsible enterprises. Every plan that is created has to be linked to one of the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development that was announced by World Leaders.
