About me
Hello ! My name is Vanshika Saigal and I am a 2014 graduate from one of the best design schools in India, National Institute Of Fashion Technolgy, Bangalore with a specialization in Knitwear Design and Technology. I have been working as a design professional in the Indian fashion retail market since 2014. Since then I have used the design process and methodology as a key tool to figure out the solution for consumer conflicts at a mass retail brand level. Thus providing a vast opportunity for the consumers to dress up in different scenarios as a young discoverer, transiter, seeker or discerner . I have designed the season’s catego- ries for the two of the most iconic menswear brands in India both value and volume drivers- Louis Philippe and Peter England. So the next step in my career was to dig deep into the societal and economic conflicts which actually raises the need for the consumers to evolve in different spheres of life. As creative thinking and out of the box design approach is the need of the hour, I would really wish to pursue for opportunity in this field as I have always wanted to incorporate my design knowledge into the smallest of the activity happening in our daily life. Currently, I am pursuing my masters in Business Design from Domus Academy, Milan. I hope to use design in the most creative way possible so as to bring about productive innovations in terms of strategies and solutions. This course felt to be the perfect catalyst needed to revolutionize the existing ideas and develop fresh ones to make the life of the consumer an easy savoir-faire.
