My name is Vera Romanova and I enjoy making videos.
It started for me as a hobby in 2013 and has now escalated to winning moving image festival awards, working full-time in the film industry and lecturing about my experience. I am endlessly inspired by the act of manipulating recorded life (audio and visual) and giving it new context and narrative.
After freelancing and graduating from Central Saint Martins
I've full-time assisted Anatoly Vasiliev, one of the leading European contemporary stage directors, in the making of four post-doc films on an experimental multimedia project "DAU"
by Phenomen Films for almost two years.
As of 2020 I am based in London and open to new freelance projects and collaborations.
