Working in customer care answering phone calls from customers and site owners in regards to issues they have had with using an ATM. Making phone calls to sites and engineers. Scheduling Engineers' days and keeping dates and times up to date. Liaising with banks and secure information. Manning all machines in the Yorkshire and east area and remotely clearing faults where possible. Learning how to prioritise jobs and sites and appeasing angry customers. Working with a number of blue chip companies to ensure integration and efficiency.
Working on tills in the shop dealing with customers in a busy environment. Manning different stations around the store, and organising the store room and stock levels. Assisting customers with all information regarding Harry Potter and the tour itself.
Working behind the bar on busy match days prioritising customers, serving food and drinks, and dealing with money. Also serving VIP guests in stadium boxes, providing a service to ensure a joyful evening.
Working on busy University open days, touring prospective students and their families around the University, halls of residence, and lecture rooms. Answering all questions that may help decide their educational future. Merging with people from all backgrounds and of all ages.
A fortnight placement at SFX. I wrote up features and articles for the magazine and the website. Transcribed interviews already conducted for print. Creating questions that would then be used in future interviews. Attended team meetings and discussed future editions.
