• Project manage, organize and coordinate all contractors required for events including planning and preparing of the overall event set up schedule with TV production, Lighting and ring suppliers and all other contractors and subcontractors. • Manage large budgets for all events in line with sponsorship deals secured and event requirements. • Updating company Directors regarding budgeting aspects for all that is required for successful execution of each event. • Plan, organize and execute live boxing events, as the main point of contact for all necessary suppliers including; television, ticketing, security, seating companies etc. Alongside the fight week events including; Weigh in, Press Conferences & Public Workouts. • Produce and evolve standard operating procedures to improve the project management, planning, organization of the live boxing events. • Manage ticketing set up plans, liaise with ticketing agents and assist with developing and implementing improved systems for sales including VIP ringside and corporate packages. • Source venues, and compile the necessary information for booking suitable venues primarily across the UK and USA and develop relationships with suitable boxing venues. • All Event Marketing. • Manage Social Media platforms • Manage a team of Event Assistants on Event week and a large event team on event days which includes over 30 people. • Lead operational planning and implementation for all social media events • Assisting with the day to day operations of the business including; Accounts, Sponsorship, Event Management, Legal Responsibilities, Customer Service, Social Media, Website Management, Merchandise Management. • Provide Market Research on live boxing events including competitor analysis.
Progressive Media is a leading global provider of online market data, analysis and advisory services. Progressive Media also manage a number of publishing portfolios ranging from Banking, Asset Finance to Architecture and Design. I worked under the Timetric Division which consisted of a small event team consisting of 4 people. I worked alongside the Event Director and Head of Events on a daily basis. The team would manage over 20 events a year all which I managed solely from start to finish. The Events that we ran were a variety of Conference, Awards, Roundtables, Webinars, Forums, Private Dinners all ranging from 10 – 500 delegates. The events the we ran were predominately in Europe with some also being held in the Middle East and Asia. My Event Manager Role tasks include: • Work with the Head of Events to put together the annual budgets, looking at historic spend and future revenue forecasts for each event to develop an overall event budget delivering an appropriate GP • Managing the above budgets per event • Working alongside the commercial team to deliver an event with costs in line with current and forecast revenue – e.g. managing the bedroom booking process to ensure all guaranteed rooms are filled • Line managing 2 people • Extensive research and costing on venue sourcing to develop relevant proposals ahead of contract • Reviewing all contracts before signing off • Work with editorial on developing new categories for commercial gain and to increase YOY revenues • Full responsibility for all pre-event delegate and sponsor contact – key contact in most case • Production and delivery of sponsor deliverables – including lanyards, bespoke events onsite, branded items. Dealing with customs issues as necessary. • Proof reading event emails, creating and updating the event websites • Manage the event team onsite at each event as necessary alongside the Head of Events • AV sourcing – ensure the appropriate AV for each event is booked in; work to deliver a seamless production onsite • Ultimate responsibility for all staff travel and accommodation Liaise with all suppliers to ensure a successful event is delivered (pre-and during)

I was taken on at Hearst on a 6-month contract to help assist with event managing the busiest time of the year for the Live Shows and Event schedule. I worked on the lifestyle team which ran 3-5 large scale exhibitions including exhibitions show rooms at Burghley Horse Trial, Badminton Horse Trails and Chelsea Flower Show also running 3 large scales Christmas and spring shows around the UK attended by over 50,000 people over a 3-day show. Alongside smaller lunches, product launches and award shows. During my time at Hearst I also worked on other publications events including Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman of the Year Awards. Holiday Inn Gatwick Worth is an accredited 4* hotel with conference & Event facilities I worked at the Holiday Inn on a 3-month contract to assist with a busy period for the hotel. I worked alongside the revenue manager and hotel manager to manage their busy event schedule. I was the only onsite Event support and managed the events from enquiry to onsite delivery. The Events I ran included; Weddings, Conference, Business Meetings, Afternoon Tea, Themed Event Nights, Large Dinner Parties and Music Nights. My duties as Event Coordinator included: • Client Liaison – The main point of contact for all client enquiries including assisting bookings for weddings and business lunches. • Taking day to day sales enquiries for event spaces • Implementing planning and managing the event from booking phase • Sourcing new corporate clients from local businesses • Event Marketing • Creating new events • Managing existing corporate clients • Attending numerous wedding fairs to sell hotel • Assisting with the day to day running of a busy 4* hotel.
