I’m an award-winning graphic designer with 12 years’ industry experience, specialising in creative, concept-driven design. In 2012, I founded Bread Collective with Luke James and Owen Phillips, which started as a collaborative side-project, to focus on more ‘hands-on’ and multi-disciplinary creative work.
We won the funding for our first piece of work, which gained nationwide press, and led to a wide variety of projects across the UK and USA. In the past six years, I’ve been commissioned to design and install large-scale public artworks by the Southbank Centre, Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
I’ve worked on and managed a range of design projects from brand identities and event graphics, to signage systems and packaging, art direction and editorial. I run projects from the initial client meeting, to creating the design, to the production, which in some cases might even be hand-painting the graphics with my team from a cherry picker.
My clients at Bread Collective span fashion, food, arts and lifestyle sectors, such as Whistles, Everyman Cinemas, CNN, Battersea Arts Centre, Hoxton Mini Press, Green Man Festival, Gail’s Bakery, WGSN, Byron Burger, Port Magazine, Move Your Frame gyms, Lacoste, Nike, KFC and Heineken, as well as including various start-ups, charities and community projects. My work has been featured in various publications including: Lettering Large – Art & Design of Monumental Typography; Modern Heraldry – Seals, Stamps, Crests & Shields, and magazines such as It’s Nice That, FormFiftyFive, Computer Arts and Creative Review.
