About me
I’m a podcast and event host, community architect and the founder of hito labs - the first ever community systems lab. After building interdisciplinary communities for ten years, I discovered a real need for communities to connect with other industries, ideas and people. I started asking the question of amplification. Can we magnify the impact companies and individuals can have by connecting them to the right person, advice or opportunity? Instead of focusing on optimising information and knowledge flow in a given community, can we start looking at how to better connect a whole system, a super-connected macro community? This brought me to start creating links between the different communities that I’m part of. These experiments lead me to start looking at communities not as individual clusters, but as elements of a much larger, super-connected system. I firmly believe that this system and its modularity are the basis of the future of work. Working with communities as my raw material, I am lucky to be part of many brilliant networks. I also like to give back whenever possible. I’m a proud On Being and RSA Fellow, adviser to Second Home and mentor at Techstars, Escape the City and Out Of Office Hours. I’m also the London ambassador for Sandbox - a global community for leader under 30 and I’m lucky to be part of The Point People collective. I give guest lectures at the University of the Arts, London where I teach students about the future (and present) of work. I’m a judge for the incredible Lovie and Webby awards. In my free time, I host CreativeMornings/London and my award-winning podcast on the future of work - The Work We Do. If you’re exploring questions of communities, networks and systems, drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you.

The idea was to create a fun, safe place in which ANNA’s first customers could share stories about the highs and lows of setting up their own businesses. It was a fun morning with a fascinating, talented group of guests and our speaker Victoria Stoyanova and delicious food by 26 Grains

We have tried to make the list as diverse as possible (because diversity in itself breeds creativity) and is made up of architects, artists, authors, change-m
