About me
A BSc Marketing undergraduate with comprehensive work experience, graduating with an upper 2:1 classification. Throughout my time at the University of Southampton, I have exercised my team-working, analytical and creative/design skills across numerous individual and group projects, and within my role as ‘Marketing Officer’ for the University’s Business Society. I am currently seeking a Junior Marketing role to further develop the knowledge and skills I have acquired, in a modern and challenging workplace.

• Also contributed in weekly committee meetings, assisting in event planning, idea generation and problem-solving for general societal matters; such as coordinating external businesses.
• By liaising with the social secretaries to generate event ideas and design enticing promotional materials, my work effectively contributed towards some of the society’s most well-attended and profitable events to date; such as our ‘90s Garden Party’ which amassed over 600 people interested on Facebook and over 200 attendees from across the university.

• Expanded my practical marketing skills in ‘Digital Marketing’ and ‘Marketing Communications’ modules, which involved composing extensive marketing campaigns. These widened my experience in conducting market/industry research, developing persona profiles, forming IMCPs and designing promotional graphics for online/offline platforms; alongside improving my team-working and presentation skills.
• Created a truly actionable business plan in my ‘New Venture Development’ module; the process of which included conducting market research, creating three-year financial projections and designing graphic mockups for the envisioned business. The plan was awarded a 1st grade by the module leader.
• Developed my understanding of statistical analysis in marketing, utilising software packages such as SPSS, R Studio and Tableau across several statistical modules; emphasising the analysis of large data sets to derive performance in key marketing metrics and gauge the effectiveness of campaigns.
