About me
I am a Textile designer specializing in Printed textiles with a passion for colour and pattern. I enjoy designing for fashion and interiors. My designs are inspired by details of the world around me. I believe that balance in a design is the key. My skill for drawing and painting in combination with digital skills and successful use of colour help to create bold, exciting and sophisticated designs. I am keen on exploring a variety of techniques and design methods. I have got attention to detail and a good eye for colour. I am keen on learning new skills and I embrace adventures. I am actively seeking a graduate role in the Design industry. Please feel free to contact me regarding any commissions or freelance design work. • Dreaming of tomorrow
Dreaming of tomorrowCollection "Dreaming of tomorrow" includes six textile print designs for womenswear luxury fashion brands. The collection brings together abstract painting, mark-making and floral motifs in repeat patterns. The patterns represent hand-painted flower motifs and expressive brushstrokes and marks that are painted as creative self-expression. Designs are digitally printed on cotton silk, linen and bamboo fabrics. Design by Viktorija Žarkova 2020
