My work-flow and research techniques stem from a Ba(Hons) in Architecture at De Montfort University, where I played with lighting, forms & concepts as well as dove headfirst into a plethora of creative software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D software which I later reincorporated as a form of media, via an Oscilloscope to visualize musical layers. As well as playing Guitar and Keys I will sample just about anything that has a frequency & resonance, then organize them so I can drop them in to a project on the fly, like a cupboard full of easily accessible art clippings to a collage.
I am someone who is going to go truly above and beyond for you to produce content for social media, I hope my Instagram page @mistry.ink can illustrate this. I remixed Don’t Say A Word because I liked the eerie vibe and enjoyed how the animated-collage with Philippa Heimann’s painting of “My Green World” created a landscape for the music. I took this alt-proggy tune and flipped it into an electronic & somewhat dance track with a tranquilized offset.
I want to prove how multi-disciplined I really am, not just to you but to myself. I’ve worked in Architectural & Interior design studios communicating ideas visually whilst juggling daily administrative tasks. I’ve work as a freelancers apprentice at Dann Design LTD working on commercial restaurants, a job where you need to be focused with an attention to detail. Recently I’m working as a Kitchen Consultant where the only way to stay afloat is by being able to multi-task and diligently pro-active.
I really doubt you will find someone as passionate about audio-visual work as myself, and if you do I want to work with that person.
