Hi! I am Vittoria Maiolo, an italian videographer/video editor/director now London based
I got my bachelor degree in Media Design and Multimedia Arts at the NABA Academy in Milan and I have been working in this field for about 6 years. I have collaborated with well known companies and magazines such as Rolling Stone Magazine, Vogue Italia, Cosmopolitan, Corona Extra, Jean Paul Gaultier, Just Cavalli etc, providing quality video products for commercials, promos, big events, music videos, backstage videos and interviews.
My experience encompasses all the stages of video production: I usually shoot with a SonyAlpha7s camera and I am very familiar with the Adobe CC package. PremierePro is my preferred NLE software and I also have essential knowledge in sound design, color correction and motion graphics. I am a collaborative team worker and I always put my customer first, finding the best solutions to communicate the contents in an effective way. I have great creativity, strong storytelling skills and I am able to picture the final result.
During 2019 - 2020 I focused on my career as a musician. I obtained a two years bass guitar diploma in jazz music at The Players School of Music in Florida (US). I believe that this experience has been invaluable for my professional growth since audiovisual products are the exact combination of these two aspects: audio and images. Thanks to these studies I increased my understanding of rhythm, that I can then apply on video editing, and my ability to communicate and work with a team.
