Coming from a background of more than 20 years in advertising, design seems to me as the core in getting facetime, attention and getting the message across to the right people. In some instances, it of course doesn't always work and needs to be coupled with many other supporting elements, but at the core, design is not just about making things look pretty. Design encompasses strategies, direction and life.
My latest project on setting up an arts centre for a client, is taking most of my days and nights, not to mention.. head space. I do however embark on a little doodling, writing and jazz singing besides being a crazy cat lady all day long and working on side design projects because I'm a designer, through and through.
I've put these traits or trades together to embark on projects via A Vivid World for clients who would like me to work closely with them on design, branding and leveraging on what they already have, improve what they can and make a good conscious mark in the world and in peoples lives.
