About me
I am a trilingual (English & French>Italian) content director & transcreation expert with more than fifteen years of experience working as a journalist, press officer, spokesperson, PR, copywriter, and digital curator for UGC content. ​From 2017 to 2022, I was the Global Curation Lead at Depop. Occasionally, I freelance for international magazines and Italian newspapers. Over my career, I worked and lived in Strasbourg and Paris, where I interned at the Italian news agency ANSA; I co-edited a book 'Folli, Guerrieri custodi del fuoco'; I volunteered as a press officer for the IJF (International Journalism Festival) in Perugia, and ideated and run a radio programme focusing on lifestyle. From 2016 until April 2020, I was the Italian Translation Editor for the shoe and accessory brand Camper. I am currently based in London.

    Set up the team, the strategy, the processes, milestones, team & content, merchandise success KPIs globally and locally for the Explore page. Research, define & execute content merchandise & marketing activations in line with brand & marketing objectives with in-house & external resources (Key result: #BlackOnDepop, IWD best-performing campaigns). Define, project manage & deliver channel global & local campaigns by partnering with Marketing, Creative, and channel such as PR, Social, CRM. (Key results: delivered local and global campaigns such as Depop live, Ralph Lauren, Vans, Richard Quinn, Birds of Paradise, Gossip Girl Season 2, among others) Feed insight, in-app activations, influencers for in-house campaigns as well as external partners (Key result: doubled exposure for Depop & brands involved) Provide trends & insight for PR strategy & pitches, CRM comms & category management activations. (Key result: POC for trends enquiries for PR, increase conversion & open rate for CRM in-app & email activities) Research, define & implement DEI & sustainability strategies (Key result: Company-wide implementation) Define & implement 12 monthly trend & merchandise reports and forecasts used to inform the brand & marketing output of 6 teams (product, PR, brand, merchandise, CRM, SEO and Growth marketing activities.) Define marketing & brand needs for in-app activations & collaborate with tech teams to create and/or implement existing marketing and merchandising tools Ideate and implement processes to maximise efficiency within the team and across departments. (Key result: increased team performance and halved cross-team delivery time) Create content merchandise & market guidelines aligned to our brand mission within the Depop community in English, French, German and Italian. (Key results: build a solid & recognisable global brand alongside localised content merchandise which led to partnerships with globally renowned brands Lead and mentor a team of 5 members - two of which remotes (in the USA and Australia) working on 6 markets (US, UK, AUS, ITA, FR and GER) (Key results: managed a case of underperformance into operational excellence) Sourcing, shoot and curating all the visual merchandise assets for the App, CRM, blog and Digital, Marketing. (Key results: 50-80 assets & insights per week) Work alongside the Community development team facilitating mentorship for Depop's biggest sellers to maximise outputs, focussing on how to use the app, best practices, among others. (Key results: 50% increase of GMV from this cohort)
