Head of CuttingRestrap
Leeds, United KingdomFull Time
As the head of the cutting department at Restrap, I work as part of a small team cutting materials - the first step in production for the factory. This is a varied role, which requires excellent forward planning, good machine and software knowledge as well as good communication and staff management to help all operations run smoothly.
This role includes, but is not limited to:
• Using CNC cutters and laser cutters to cut material for production. This also involves testing
and inspecting new fabrics, as well as liaising with suppliers about quality and technical
specifications.
• Managing staff, machines and workload to ensure that all production orders are completed for
the schedule.
• Using a range of software, from managing data sheets, ERPs like Odoo or Vectorworks CAD.

Co-FounderFreehold Projects
Leeds, United KingdomFreelance
In 2019 I helped to co-found Freehold Projects, art space and collaborative group in Leeds. Our aim is to create a space which is accessible to people who otherwise would not attend galleries, as well as give recent graduates or people who otherwise would not get shows space to display their work. We are focused on it being a community space.
Working as part of Freehold Projects I have carried out a variety of roles, detailed below but not limited to:
• Planning of shows - this involves finding artists who want to use the space, and liaising with the artist.
• As well as traditional gallery shows we have put together workshops ran by ourselves, and also outside artists.
• As a trained photographer, I also document the exhibitions and events.
