I am an executive and entrepreneur with a proven track record of building successful media businesses in the digital world. I have experience across technology and product, editorial and commercial, which allows me to move between each of these areas and join the dots in order to create and execute a successful strategy. I am driven by a passion for media and the power of digital to create cultural and business change, and firmly believe that success means recruiting and managing all-star teams, then working to create an environment and culture where they can do great work. Having been part of successful startups, as well as more established media businesses, I enjoy bringing the best of both worlds together to create impact. As a former journalist, I continue to enjoy opportunities to write and comment on the latest developments in consumer technology.

    With the acquisition of the Entale business by DMG, I took on a role as Acting Publisher for TheKnowledge.com, DMG’s first digital-only news product. Working alongside the Editor, I built the Commercial and Product team and interfaced with DMG’s internal Technical team, as well as third party contractors, to get the product to market; and additionally expanded the launch scope to include the first paywall of its kind inside the business. I am now working on the development of new digital products at a Group level, evaluating and delivering nascent products outside of the core suite of titles.
