I am a digital product designer from Hong Kong, currently working at Oculus contributing to the future of human-computer interactions. Recently, my team had designed and shipped the hand tracking input system on the Oculus Quest.
Previously, I was working at Google Creative Lab on Google Earth and the Google Experiments platform.
Working together with Loju games from 2018-2019, our game Ordia won both the Apple Design Award and Android Indie Games Showcase award in 2019.
At Nexus Studios, I led the design directions of several VR/AR products and experiences for brands like Google Arts and Culture, BBC and Samsung, focused on educating users through immersive storytelling. In particular, both BBC Civilisations AR and Big Bang AR for Google Arts and Culture had garnered critical acclaims and awards.
I had gathered 10 years' worth of experience designing communication solutions for established brands like Adidas, Renault, Nissan, Sony PlayStation, Fullers, Flybe, Jigsaw and National Geographic; as well as startups like Starling Bank and Blocks Modular Smartwatch.

- Big Bang ARThe story of our universe in mixed reality, in collaboration with CERN. Nexus worked with Google Arts and Culture and CERN to produce a mixed reality journey through the birth and evolution of the universe, as told by Tilda Swinton. The Big Bang AR app takes you back in time 13.8 billion years to discover how space, time and the visible universe came to be. I recently lead the design direction of the first AR application launched by BBC - BBC Civilisations AR.

I participated in the project from the initial pitch all the way to final delivery; from the overall design direction and user experience to detailed executions of the visual design. Together with my team at Nexus Studios, we worked closely with BBC R&D team to discover new ways to experience historical artefacts in AR. Due to the global reach of the BBC platform, we have to pay special attention to accessibility to make sure the application can be enjoyed by a wide range of users. Exploring new interaction patterns in AR that is accessible to most people was a unique and rewarding challenge. The application was featured on Apps Store as App of the Day as soon as it was launched.
Currently, I am also working on an upcoming VR animation application VLO. As part of a nimble team together with creative technologists and product managers, I'm in charge of leading the design of the overall product and brand strategy as well as the UX/UI of the product.
