About me
Passionate about music from an early age, I soon discovered my passion for live events through technical theatre aged twelve. I have gained vast industry experience through organising all aspects of music festivals and subsequently put my engineering and project management skills to work thorugh managing transformation projects for a larger business portfolio. I’m an optimistic, detail-oriented individual and specialise in empowering the music industry through technology, in an agile mannner. I am a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

    Scoping, direction and delivery of a greenfield software project to tie together business operations across a new portfolio of festivals. Scope included: supplier relations management (SRM), staff contracting, accreditation management, on-site services management, artist logistics and resource scheduling. • Optimising the project to provide portfolio-wide business analytics, while catering for bespoke needs of individual events. • Procuring and instructing third-party developers including statement of work. • Matching specification and delivery of project to business needs and operational KPI’s, creating materials including user stories and workflows. • Gathering user and stakeholder feedback, frequently revising and iterating specification to ensure successful buy-in. • Ownership of project budget and timelines, always remaining on a tight schedule due to the nature of impending festival delivery dates. • Inputting to key operational decisions for the festivals, enabling systemisation of existing processes and supporting post-transition business change. • Coaching, developing and training key staff, freelancers and suppliers across all business departments; including on-site support. • Feedback to directors/project board on buy-in, impediments and lessons learned. • Utilisation of system data to outline a new multi-point tendering system. • Enabling and enhancing GDPR, counter-terrorism and other compliance initiatives across the portfolio. • Successful roll-out to all events, creating several points of return on investment, such as 30% wastage reduction on staff catering.

    Responsibilities • Primarily responsible for all areas of planning and delivery. • Coordinating 300+ student volunteers who drive the creative direction of the festival. • All artist bookings, logistics and production procurement and briefing for fifteen stages across the event. • Budget management. • Scheduling and chairing of operations meetings. ensuring that key milestones were developed and deadlines adhered to. • Briefing and assisting the marketing and communications team in all areas of content, design and targeting including full development of the festival’s website myself. • Primary contact for all areas of the event on the night including training and leading the artist liaison team. Achievements • Shortlisted for Best Use of New Technology at UK Festival Awards for implementation of festival management software. • Record ticket sales.
