The Biscuit Collection of Michel FoucaultA concept that used the format of a limited edition set of prints to communicate Michel Foucault's philosophies of heterotopias and utopias. Inside the box is 30 photographs of biscuits unusually customised to describe either a heterotopia or a utopia. Foucault's concepts are explained in a short introduction on the inside of the box.
  • The William Dalton Fan Club
The William Dalton Fan ClubThe Fan Club is a subscription service that sent themed envelopes to its members - my 'fans' - every three months. The envelopes included zines, posters, paintings, CDs and stickers. Each fan also received a badge.
  • The Painting Documentary
The Painting DocumentaryA short documentary explaining the first few months of my painting project. Satirising the sincerity of art documentaries, the film tells the story of my relationship with painting, from my first experiments. Different formats are utilised, including a mock interview, comments from members of the William Dalton Fan Club and emotional montage sequences.
  • That's Weird Isn't It!
That's Weird Isn't It!The culmination of my Foundation course. I presented a body of work that explored cliché and parody in an informal show in the kitchen of my flat. The show was then documented and that documentation, as well as all the pieces I made, were presented in a catalogue. This show incorprated pieces from the series Where I Grew Up, by William Dalton and Tales from Romley.
  • WHAT HYPE Magazine Issue 1
WHAT HYPE Magazine Issue 1WHAT HYPE Magazine is a photography magazine I founded and started in early 2012. In December it released its first issue, self-published, with an initial run of 60 copies. Featuring great photography from some of the best young photographers around the world. I invited these photographers to submit work related to the issue's theme, 'Night', and designed the magazine myself. The branding and 'no-bullshit' attitude also extends to additional products, advertising and the magazine's website.
  • Temporary Ice Pets
Temporary Ice PetsA product to teach and educate people about life, death and grief by means of a block of ice. The Temporary Ice Pet comes with googly eyes and a birth certificate so users become attached to it. But it is made of ice, so there is an inevitability to it. The Ice pet comes with a booklet featurings things to do with your Ice Pet, the background behind Ice Pets, and what to do when your pet dies. On the reverse of the birth certificate is a death certificate, for when it is required.
