From a very early age I have always considered myself as an expressive person, my sister and I would take pleasure as youths drawing carelessly on kitchen walls and counters instead of on paper. My main outlets were drawing, painting, taking part in school plays which usually included a fair bit of acting and singing. From the age of twelve onwards I took part in various school activities like drama, history, music, art and religious studies. I wasn’t very attentive to other curricular subjects such as mathematics, science and English, but excelled more in creative related subjects such as music, drama and art.
My keen interest in editing photos, creating videos and animations on after effects, Photoshop and blogging for social media, transcended into a practice I later came to respect and think more critically about. That being photography which had a hedge impact on me and played a major role in my decision to study Photography and Video at (DMU) De Montfort University.

Education
BA (Hons) Photography and videoDe Montfort University
- Leicester, United Kingdom
During my time at studying at DMU, I was introduced to both side of interactive visual in the field of photography and video which is employed in many fields of science, manufacturing and business, as well as its more direct uses for art, film and cinema production recreational purposes, hobby, and mass communication. In my second year we were given the choice to major in either photography or video.
I was more drawn to video because I saw the potential of the interactive influence I felt visual storytelling and videography had. I was pushed to think critically about my art and develop it to a professional standard. For my final major project we were given the freedom to develop our ideas in which ever media we choose in the second year. What area we wanted to focus on. Choosing task was to create a series of ideas developed development it.
