My early-work has been honed at agencies such as AKQA and Saatchi & Saatchi - where I crafted my way through an enviable list of clients - P&G, Sainsbury’s, Carlsberg, Estée Lauder and Nike to name a few. But I’ve also helped to build multi-million starts-ups from the ground up. Flutter.com (now known as Betfair.com). And most recently Made.com. Joining as employee 1 and the Art Director of the founding team. I have worked directly with the CEO and CCO in shaping the blueprint of Made’s creative expression since it’s inception. Brand Identity Created a brand identity that has helped to launch an unknown start up to an European business which reports £127m (2018). Defined founding brand identity - logo, art, tov, site, advertising. Continue to rework or evolve brand creative in line with the commercial ambitions and challenges of the business. Digital Experience Partnering with the CEO and CTO. We worked together to define the UX and visual design of the site from start up to year 5 of trading (Turnover of £64m, 2015). Remaining hands-on visual lead until the creation of the Digital Experience team. Continue to collaborate closely with the DX team, providing design direction where required and consulting on all aspects of brand proposition on site. Campaign Marketing Briefing and producing campaign creative that supports 30-40% growth year on year. Create integrated campaigns from concept through to production blending in-house and external talent. Channels have included TV, OOO, On-Line, Retargeting, Editorial, Social, CRM and DM. Management & Production Built a successful multi-disciplined creative team across Product Design, Graphics, Copy, Art Direction, Photography and Production. Manage the brand production budget (£1.4m), production and design of all campaign marketing content as well as establishing and overseeing the internal photographic services team responsible for all e-commerce assets.
Mydeco was a site that gave customers the chance to search thousands of products, get inspiration, connect with interior pros, and to visualise choices in design planning tools. Achievements + Briefed to overhaul the UX and visual design of Mydeco’s suite of planning and 3D visualisation apps before departing for sister company - Made.com. + Exit - The apps were later acquired by leading competitor - Floorplanner.com. Together they now form a business which has 20 million users and where 1 million room designs are created every month.

Visual design and UX research across digital products for Sainsbury’s, Estée Lauder and Nike. Highlights + Part of the digital re-brand team across multiple sites for Sainsbury’s. An extensive project to create the extra revenue to meet their yearly sales target of £17 billion. + Bagging AKQA’s first out of home campaign for Nike.
Flutter disrupted the gaming industry by building the worlds first online marketplace for sports betting - essentially removing the bookies from the process and allowing punters to bet against each other. Achievements + Selected as lead designer for exit negotiations. Brief was to visualise Flutter’s interface prowess and international capabilities. + Exit - Lead designer for negotiations. Flutter later merged with its biggest rival, Betfair.com and together they now form a business which handles more than £50 billion in transactions each year.
