Wu-Ching Chang is an award-winning animation director with an MA in Animation from the Royal College. Since 2015, she has excelled in animation, illustration, and concept art. Notably, she is the concept and cinematic artist for Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition. Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Communication Design Program at Shih Chien University.
Her films have captivated audiences at festivals worldwide, addressing themes such as female perspectives, modernity, and humanistic views. She combines cultural context and focused interviews to bring depth to her storytelling. Her film 'My Grandmother Is an Egg' has received accolades, including the Jury Special Mention Award at the Atlanta Film Festival and Women Make Waves Film Festival, and selections at Hot Docs International Documentary Festival, Animafest Zagreb, Flickerfest International Short Film Festival, and more.
