I spent my year abroad studying at the École Normale Supérieure on rue d'Ulm. There I studied French History and Literature, as well as starting to learn Italian. I also participated in a volunteer teaching programme. This scheme was created in order to teach French to refugees living in the capital. I taught a group of roughly 8 students for a year, taking them from complete beginners to a certificated intermediate (A2) level.
